Ervin Architecture: Construction of Heated Entry Slab for Down East Orthopedics

Pouring of the entry slab for the new Down East Orthopedics Medical Facility.  As you can see, there is radiant floor heat in the slab, piped through the slab using those flexible red pipes.  They transfer heat into the thermal mass of the concrete causing the snow & ice to melt in the winter.  It runs off a simple branch off the supplemental hydronic system already in place.
